Paystack - Notice history

We are receiving reports of downtime on our API, dashboard and checkout. It appears to be linked to a Cloudflare outage. We are busy investigating the issue.

Our partner, Telecel, is currently having a downtime on their platform, which is affecting mobile money transactions at the moment. As a result, most Telecel transactions are failing. We're currently liaising with them to fix the issues and restore the service.

We are currently experiencing an issue with MTN Mobile Money transactions due to downtime on MTN’s platform. This is causing most MTN Mobile Money payments to fail.

Our team is in active communication with MTN, and we are working closely with them to restore full service as quickly as possible. We’ll share further updates as soon as they are available.

Access Bank is currently experiencing a downtime, and as a result, you might be unable to complete:

• Card payments with Access Bank-issued cards

• Direct Debit payments with Access Bank accounts

• Transfers to Access Bank accounts

We are currently experiencing an increase in the failure rate on transactions with Verve cards.

We have notified the Verve team and are working closely with them to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

We are currently observing a higher failure rate on transactions made with Verve cards.

Our team has notified the Verve team, and we are working closely with them to resolve the issue. We’ll provide updates as soon as normal service is restored.

We are seeing an increased rate of card transaction failures. The issue has been escalated to our 3rd-party partners.

Some customers might encounter an “Invalid transaction details” error when attempting to initialize new transactions. This issue appears to affect a subset of merchants and may prevent successful transactions through the Paystack Checkout
