  • Direct Debit is currently unavailable across all banks due to a downtime.

    Impact:

    Attempts to charge already-linked accounts may fail.

    Attempts to link new bank accounts may also fail.

    We are in active communication with the service provider and will share updates as soon as more information becomes available.

Nigeria: Scheduled Maintenance on Card Transactions

  • Our processing partner, Interswitch, will carry out scheduled maintenance from ​Saturday, 7th November 2026, at 10:00 PM WAT​ to Sunday 8th October 2026, at 06:00 AM WAT​.

    What this means for you​:

    You may experience increased failures when processing ​Verve card transactions​ during this period. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at ​support@paystack.com​.

    Pay with Transfer, Pay with Bank, Direct Debit, USSD, Opay and POS are not affected. Payouts are not affected.

    We'll monitor card payments closely throughout the window and post an update here if we see any impact.

    Affects: Transactions → NIGERIA → Cards.
