What this means:
Customers may be unable to link new bank accounts at this time, or may notice delays during the linking process.
Previously linked accounts remain unaffected and can still be charged as usual.

There is redundancy in place and traffic will be re-routed where possible to minimise any impact.
Mastercard and Amex cards, Apple Pay and EFT payment methods will remain unaffected.

Investigating - We're currently observing a high rate of failures for card transactions issued by UBA, as well as transfers to UBA bank accounts. This is due to a downtime on UBA's end.

We've informed their team and are actively working with them to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We'll share an update once it's been resolved.

Investigating - Transfers to Wema Bank accounts in Nigeria might experience a slight delay due to degradation on the bank's system.

There might also be a delay in confirming deposits for transactions made to Wema Virtual Account numbers.
