Paystack - Notice history

Our partner, MPESA, is currently having a downtime on their platform, which is affecting mobile money transactions. As a result, most MPESA STK PUSH transactions are failing. However, transactions via Paybill are successful.

We're currently liaising with them to fix the issues and restore the service.

We are currently experiencing a downtime with Pay with Transfer (PwT) and Outward Transfers. As a result, you may be unable to complete:

1. PwT transactions to Paystack Titan accounts

2. Outward transfers to some bank accounts

Our team is actively working with partners to resolve this issue and will provide updates as soon as service is fully restored

We are receiving reports of downtime on our API, dashboard and checkout. It appears to be linked to a Cloudflare outage. We are busy investigating the issue.

Access Bank is currently experiencing a downtime, and as a result, you might be unable to complete:

• Card payments with Access Bank-issued cards

• Direct Debit payments with Access Bank accounts

• Transfers to Access Bank accounts

Our partner, MTN, is currently having a downtime on their platform, which is affecting mobile money transactions at the moment. As a result, most MTN transactions are failing. We're currently liaising with them to fix the issues and restore the service.

We are currently experiencing an increase in the failure rate on transactions with Verve cards.

We have notified the Verve team and are working closely with them to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

We are seeing an increased rate of card transaction failures. The issue has been escalated to our 3rd-party partners.

Some customers might encounter an “Invalid transaction details” error when attempting to initialize new transactions. This issue appears to affect a subset of merchants and may prevent successful transactions through the Paystack Checkout
