We recently received an update from Ozow that in anticipation of increased volumes due to Black Friday, they’ll undergo a scheduled upgrade to their systems for 5 hours.
This upgrade will start on Monday, November 13 at 12:00 am (SAST), and end on Tuesday, November 14 at 5:00 am (SAST).
What does this mean for you? During this period, you won't be able to accept payments from customers through Ozow EFT, and you won't be able to add funds to your Transfers balance. Rest assured, you’ll still be able to accept payments as usual via our other payment channels, including direct card payments, SnapScan, and Scan to Pay.
To minimize the impact on ongoing transactions, the EFT payment option will be temporarily hidden from your customers between 11:45 pm and 5:15 am (SAST).
