We recently received an update from Ozow that they’ll undergo a scheduled maintenance exercise for 4 hours on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, from 12:00 am - 4:00 am (SAST).
What does this mean for you? During this period, you won't be able to accept payments from customers through Ozow EFT, and you won't be able to add funds to your Transfers balance.
Rest assured, you’ll still be able to accept payments as usual via our other payment channels, including direct card payments, SnapScan, and Scan to Pay.
To minimize the impact on ongoing transactions, the EFT payment option will be temporarily hidden from your customers between 11:45 pm and 4:15 am (SAST).
We recommend that you update members of your team so they're aware of the exercise, and consider preemptively informing your customers about the service disruption.
